On Shivering Isles and version 1.2
« on: March 31, 2007, 01:01:36 PM »

I'm looking at this update and will see if I can get Oldblivion updated to it. I can't give an ETA since I have no idea how long it will take to get update or if it is even possible. I'm on a fairly tight deadline with other projects on my table.

Not really. I have to borrow Shivering Isles from the Internet since I have no intentions of buying it. I need to wait for that to arrive.

asp,
Many thanks, your efforts are greatly appreciated, I'm not all that computer savvy but if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.

Well, thats the problem right now. No one knows what has to be done to upgrade it, so there is no ETA.

Np, I understand. Easter is coming up this weekend which means I get 4 days off so I'll probably look at it then.

thats great, that you are considering it, but, is it for sure, that the latest oldblivion wouldn't work on Shivering Isles?

Trying to run a 1.2 patched Oblivion with Oldb CTDs almost instantly.

Trying to run a 1.2 patched Oblivion with the Oldb shaders in place of the first shader package may run for a while (I started a new game and got all the way through the sewers) but it will CTD eventually.
