It is working without a 3D analyzer and can run at 800x600 with textures at medium and full viewing range without Distant Land. this set-up gives you around 16 FPS average, but considering that if you turn down the settings it would run smooth.
The only reason I am saying this, is with the earlier version for the unpatched Oblivion it wouldn't work without the 3D analyzer, but with the latest patch and Oldblivion it now works without it. Thus I would like to say that if you guys update to the patched version of Oblivion then you could more than likely add the Intel 945 and up to the supported cards. But that would probably need more confirmation than just me right?

How long have you played with 1.2 oldblivion?
It would be good if this fixed some issues but I have a feeling that continued crashing may occur.
Either way sounds good, seems to have helped performance a bit?

It has helped performance a lot actually. This setup is running better than the house's Desktop (Amd Anthalon x64 x2 dual core, 2gb RAM, Nvidia 6150LE). But I want to say it's been 2-3 days with v1.2? IT fixed most of the crashes, like I can change cuirasses, and it no longer crashes when I go to create a new game. I ran OOO with it too... but the crates and chests that are now visibly open or not destroy my FPS like with what that clothing replacer did. But having the 3 or 4 npcs along with 2 companions on screen during battle actually isn't hurting the performance as much. It's usually the Buildings, or the amazing spell my brother created on my game that has a ridiculous amount of area damage that hurt my performance.
Oh yeah, and have you guys ever tried PyFFi for helping performance? I'm running it as we speak (It's an all nighter for it to do it's thing) But it supposedly helps by getting rid of redundant Polygons in the .Nif's. From what I've read it can give amazing 5-10 fps back in almost any area. But I did a quick test on a high polygon modded armor to see what good it'd do. Usually my FPS would drop to 1, but it only dropped to 5 after it was "unredundantcyfied" <- My word by the way. So I don't have any amazing claims as to how well it works yet.

Oh great, so I used the PyFFi. It's pretty cool, I did get at leasst an 11 FPS increase in most places... then I switched to 3rd person... WHAT THE HELL!!! I now have 7 FPS in third person but not in first!!!! NPC's aren't hurting my FPS at all, but the UPC is!!! WHY? .... oh well, anyways, I don't recommend the PyFFi to anyone now.

Alright, so I found a new breakthrough... Actually of my own stupidity... Alright, so a Intel 945 is a chipset, but it really is an Intel 945/950GMA (950GMA being the GPU) so downloading the GMA booster, I did get the x2.4 performance boost it says, and I can change armors now (Although there is still about a... I want to say 4/6 chance it will crash?).
Then I downloaded the Modded drivers for the Intel 9xx series. It's epic, I can play This game great, it only crashes occasionally, and gives a smaller chance of crashing when changing your armor!
*Also, I screwed up my .INI and changed the texture of the ground, now all the roads and such are out of place... But with it I managed to get up to 1280x800 resolution, but at that there is no changing armor or it will crash, and the game just crashes more anyways.

Sounds good and bad at the same time. Might be a good time to start over from fresh.

I second that notion. In fact I did it. Now whenever I start up the game it loads and then crashes...

Did you save your INI somewhere? Did you update to 1.2 Oblivion? Never seems to end, does it? Do you wish you had gotten a Mac which doesn't play any good games but "just works" so you could be spared all this endless conflict?

Pshh... I got linux if that counts! But I it has been updated even when I tested before. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong here... Worst part is... Take a look at this list, and note that it is right, I already tried: http://groups.google.com/group/intel9x-gaming/web/games-that-work-intel-gma-950Note that I have all of the Total war Series games, and take a look. You notice that Rome: Total war and Empire Total war are on there... You'd think ETW would run like crap, but i tried Medieval II: Total war and it ran like 2-3fps but I ran ETW and it ran at about 25-30fps... Epic right? And yet I still have problems playing this game... I think it has something to do with the modded drivers though. I dunno why, but I have this odd feeling.
