I'm confident that my computer's other things can run OldBlivion (it could actually run Oblivion directly), but could I run Oldblivion with this video card?
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family.
Assuming the answer is yes, what patch of Oblivion can the latest oldblivion run?

Seems most people with integrated Intel GMA's managed to get theirs working with oldblivion/oblivion. Do a forum search and see if you could get any answers.

If this is the x3100 gma then I believe the consensus was that Oblivion ran better/as good without oldblivion.
Plus it ran better at higher resolutions.
Pemalite had the same chipset once I believe and he can explain it better.

I did. The Intel GMA 965 (Which is the x3100) is capable of Direct X 10 and all the other bells and whistles, the game will run better without Oldblivion than with. - You will need to do several things to get playable performance out of it, most notable every performance mod you can find. Then you also need to do a registry modification to make Oblivion run on Software TnL and not Hardware TnL, this will shift a large load of graphics processing to your processor which should help performance considerably because the x3100 has a poor TnL implementation to begin with. (Don't do it if you have an Intel Atom, or a sub-1ghz single core processor!) Also grabbing some modded drivers and a Geforce FX 5200 .ini will help as well. are you using a dell inspiron 1525?
oldblivion works fine for me, I cant try the newest version (just something wrong with my computer
